Girls getting pregnant at 13?
Okay, I’m 13, in 7th grade, but my grade is mixed of 12 and 13 year olds. Okay, so they are all having sex!!! They make out in the gym and hold hands and take pictures with their arms around each other and pile on the makeup and wear mini skirts and 8 inch heels! They are all having sex and one girl is pregnant (13 years old) and I haven’t even started my period and I’m still in size AAA bra! Is there something wrong with me?
In "Western society" today it is considered too young to be having sex at 12-13, and certainly too young to be pregnant.
Most people forget that lees than 50 years ago in America (and in other Western Nations), and certainly around 100 years ago, it was common for women to be both married and to be pregnant at 13. If the people today looked at their "family trees" they would find a lot of young "brides" and "illegitimate" births in their trees. I have several of each in my tree.
Also, people forget that in other countries and cultures it is common even today for females to marry young (some as young as 9 in some African communities) or shortly after reaching menses (first period). The women would then be pregnant at a young age.
My personal opinion is that a person can start having sex when they feel they are ready, and not before. A female should not be pressured into having sex because of "peer pressure" or to "keep the boyfriend". You will most likely regret your decision.
If you do start having sex, then be careful and use two or more forms of contraception — the condom which reduces the possibility of STD’s and HIV/AIDS plus reduces the possibility of pregnancy. This should be combined with either the "pill" or possibly the "3-month injection" or the "6-month injection" or the "hormone capsule" inserted under the skin which lasts for 12 months.

Oh my good God and I thought my sister was bad (she’s pregnant and 13 too) there are a few kids in my 7th grade who are having sex. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you don’t try and screw up your whole life! Don’t give into peer pressure! I’m not having sex. Neither are most the kids in our grade.

You are just fine - there is something wrong with everyone else it seems. You don’t want to be pregnant at 13. I was at 16 and it is no fun. You don’t get to be a kid anymore - ever. Enjoy your youth, and when the time is right, you will find a boy that it will be special with, not something that you did because everyone else was doing it. Be your own person and people will like you better because of it.

It is just plain stupid to risk STDs and pregnancy, particularly so young!
Take your time.
Get your head on straight.
Get an education.
Make something of yourself, and take your time finding the right guy (believe me, NO 13-year-old guy is right!)
There is time enough for sex when you are about 5 years older, and know how important an event it is.
These girls are cheating themselves of the wonder of great sex with someone you truly love!
As for yuor period and bra size, that will chage, when it is your time.

honey, those girls are also what you’d call a wh*re…you’re perfect right now, and should stay that way…you’ll grow up and be happy you weren’t like them. I went to school with a bunch of girls like that, too, and just think of it this way, once you give it away, you can’t have it back, babe. oh, and also, the girl who’s pregnant at 13? well, once a mother, always a mother, she’s stuck in it forever, now, and on top of that, her mummy will probably be taking care of the kid, too. you’re not missing anything.

I’m 13 and in 8th grade. Pretty much all schools are the same way, lots of people in my school do the same things. Don’t worry, the pregnant girls will be sorry later when they have 5 kids and are working at a fast food restaurant. I’m only in an A size bra too, just relax, ur fine!

You are normal. The girl who has something is with her is the pregnant one. Cramps is a sure sign that you period is about to start. When you get cramps your period is not far off.

no!!! thats discusting! once those girls are older, they will regret ever doing that, and if any of them have a baby, that baby will be either killed by abortion, adopted, or be raised by a completely irresponsible parent. hate to break it to them, but seriously, they are 12/13 and the boy they are "in love" with enough to have sex with them wil be gone in less than a year…. they will like some one else or get dumped. dont do that til you’re married. u could destroy your life with one dumb disicion. be strong and dont listen to or do that stuff.
