Being skinny does slow down the process but not by a lot. I had my period a year later than my "bigger" friend. but it all depends on the person. Its all a long process, I would say your period should be not too far away but not right around the corner.

Girl, don't rush it! You will have plenty of years in your life where your period ruins everything lol. Enjoy being young.

its normal.. my sister is 14 and she didnt start her period until a couple of months ago.. shes like 90lbs.. it has something to do with weight

This is normal. It means that you are a slower developer.

You will eventually get your period, I know it may seem embarrassing since all the other girls have it but actually it's nice since periods are not pleasant. I know girls who started their period when they were 18, you might be one of those people. But you will soon enough start your period.

I felt the same way when I didn't have my period. I was mad since all my friends started and I felt that maybe I could never start it…but then I did. Yours will too eventually, don't rush things though. It will come soon enough! Just be prepared (like having pads with you) and don't be totally worried somethings wrong with you. It's normal!

Although it's extremely rare, there are cases of women who never got their period. You could be one of those girls, but like I said it's extremely rare.
